This is my walking 3D animation experiment. I would have made a more realistic person instead of just a mannequin dummy if I had the 3D modeling skill's and a ridiculous amount of computer processing power at my disposal for the the rendering!

It was drawn and animated in Swift3D then all the controls/buttons added with ActionScript 3.0 in Flash.

Enjoy.

That's cool! There handy to pose for drawing purposes but I never got around to getting one myself, at least I have a digital version now!

We just pose them in odd places for the lulz. I like how they can stand and balance on their own, it's really cool.
We have 3 mannequins, two are on top of the fireplace shelf and one is holding onto it for dear life. One time we attached one to a string and put it in a falling position and tied it to the cieling in our old house near a rocky wall, and made the other one rock-climb the wall. Haha, I have so many stories of those old mannequins

Sound's like they have been through a lot, Haha! I used to do the same when I was small but with Action Man instead.

Awesome work! Very smooth too. :) I really want to set it to "Random" and play music too. :XD:

Thanks. :) It's harder then it look's to get the walking motion looking right, took lot's of tweak's to get it going smoothly. That swagger is almost like a super model on a catwalk so some music would go down a treat!

Brilliant Allan. I am getting a strange feeling that the figure is always trying to look at the shadow and the reflection... I like RANDOM best...

Thanks Roz! He's trying to see but just doesn't quite get there, haha. The button's were an after thought, it was just looping from left to right then back again but I thought I'd try and make it a bit more interesting. I like forward the best, I really like his swagger.
