The Diamond Jubilympics

A nice long weekend of celebration will take place for the 60 years the (unelected) Queen has sat on her golden royal throne living off of tax payers fund's while the country goes to crap. Now the very same tax payers will be funding the 32 million pound Diamond Jubilee celebrations, what a lovely distraction that will be from real news and important issues for all those with blind support to this crazy situation.

In this day and age I have no idea why anyone with enough brain cell's to rub two together would ever even think of having support for the Queen and the Royal family.

One comment I heard was 'your anti-British'. Like being British is something to be proud of!? Why have pride in a country that has for many year's gone around the world taking what does not belong to them by force and causing harm and misery to innocent people trying to get on with their lives just like the regular Mr Joe Public. Pride should come in the form of support for decent people no matter where they come from and to be patriotic like this is simply another form dividing us.
Another comment stated 'without the Queen, we would lose billions in tourism'. What? This one really get's up my nose. Do we have nothing here of interest but the Queen. What about the amazing historic architecture, or the great landscapes, or even the buzzing night life of London? How do other countries survive without a Queen? We would save plenty by not having her in the first place, and maybe if she were to care about us and to use the power that she does still have to do her job she would stop our army going around the world fighting illegal wars, she would have stopped the government privatising and cutting budget's to our services, she could have put a cap on the amount of tax we have to pay (even actually tax the rich and big corporation's), kick out the bank's and stop giving them our money, I could probably go on for a while about this, but I think you get the message. I think there is no use for them (unless they start using their influence to help the people) and it's about time they were flushed down the toilet of their royal throne once and for good.

We also have the Olympics to contend with. Another big waste of money in my eye's that were going to end up with the bill for. We have facilities in this country to host sport's event's but they still insist on splashing money into them for what I don't know, no doubt to look good on TV to the world. The idiot's running thing's have also decided it's a good idea to have the media hub in the busiest part of London and to close a whole road to dedicate just to them. As well as that, anyone working in London will have the pleasure of not being able to get train's or buses at certain time's.
They have used this as an excuse to pour the military all over 'Loon'don with big warships and fighter jet's and army chopper's flying about, at extra cost to us tax payer's no doubt. They even have the cheek to station missiles in public area's in the name of safety, some of which are close to my home! So if some one really want's to disrupt the games on a scale that need's the army to stop them, I'm guessing that the first strike will be these missile's and my home with it, yeah, really safe, thanks Mr Cameron.

And there you have it, two event's that are going to cost the country billions (wonder who's paying), inconvenience the working public at a level in my eye's is unacceptable and possibly harmful to earnings and quite frankly offends me on all level's, from the people running them to the wallies supporting them.

Anyway, I'm (clearly) against the monarchy and all they stand for and the Olympic games and just wanted to air my opinion on the subject and have a good old rant about it.
